We weren't staying at the hotel and only went for the food. And what food! We had the tasting menu and there wasn't an off note in all of the courses. Everything was exceptionally good. Local ingredients and cuisine done with care and love. There were seven of us with not much German between us but our lovely hostess managed to convey everything to us and we had a fabulous experience

We didn’t stay here so I can’t rate the rooms but we went for dinner and it was spectacular. One of our party has been coming to this area for the last 40 years and the last night of his family holiday was always a cheese fondue at this restaurant. What a surprise when we went down memory lane to find food of such an excellent quality. No fondue but a tasting menu of local produce that was amazing. The presentation was beautiful. The service was perfect. And most importantly the food was beautiful, both from a presentation and a taste point of view. I cannot wait to come back here and experience the next menu. Local produce, beautifully cooked and presented, attentive service, what more could you ask for? Other than another portion of the cauliflower and pear soup. Amazing!

Simply an incredible experience, a food lovers delight! Hidden away in a beautiful part of the Swiss Alps, this Michelin Bib restaurant was completely unexpected for us. Every mouthful was a delight and a taste sensation. We found it incredible how Mario gets so much depth of flavour into his creations, so delicious. And the presentation of the dining room was also amazing, so cosy and welcoming. We can highly recommend a visit to Albrun and we'll definitely be going back. Thank You!
