Was in Binntal at the end of July 2020. On a short hike through the Twingi etc I found this kiosk. I ordered a latte macchiato and apricot sorbet - which is on the menu. "Welcome", or rather I was rebuked by the owner in a military, resolute tone "First of all, I don't make a latte macchiato, only my wife makes it and she's not there". I then took a coffee with milk. The coffee was ok, the sorbet was average. Incidentally, the sorbet was not priced, so I could not check whether the almost 12 CHF for coffee and 2 scoops of sorbet only corresponded to the Swiss price level or whether I was cheated on top of that. By the way, shortly after my order, the "woman who wasn't there" came to the kiosk... One star for the location in nature and that there is a "kind" of cafe at all, but unfortunately the rest fits only too well with the service desert of Switzerland! Even in the beautiful Binn Valley, which I have been traveling to since around 1990, everything is going downhill more and more... farewell German-speaking Switzerland!
