Shortly after 9 p.m. I go to the Pelikanbar. With the intention of ordering a drink and, above all, a little something to eat. In front of the entrance, a waiter meets me and my companion with a bowl of cheese and a bowl of olives. Perfect! I ask him if I can order this while standing at the bar. He says no, I have to order it in the restaurant. In the restaurant the waitress directs me to the bar. So second try. I stand at the bar. Two waiters are standing a few meters away. You see me. They continue to talk until one of the waiters, with a casual wave of his hand, tells me to come down the bar to where HE is standing. I would like to emphasize this again at this point: the waiter at the bar waved me to where he was standing. This is such a particularly unique experience in a restaurant of any type that deserves to be highlighted. So I (hungry and thirsty and still wanting to spend my money) push my way through the people at the bar to the person waiting there. He nods at me - I assume that means: Speak. I say that I would like to drink something but also eat something that is available. Nothing kitchen too. I say that we just saw a waiter with a cheese and olive arrangement. He says it was pre-ordered and the kitchen is closed at 9 p.m. Just for fun, the homepage says that it's open until 9:30 p.m. As we leave the bar, funnily enough, a waiter walks past us into the bar with fries. So to summarize: the welcome was warm, we felt welcome and the service was second to none. Yes, you only experience something like that once in your life. Because? Yes, you already know. Because you don't go there anymore. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
