Would give this 6 stars if I could, everything about the stay from the staff, to the breakfast, to the fondue dinner was exceptional. The owner is also very nice, and ensures guests are happy. Highly recommend

We had an uncomfortable stay in this hotel. The room is okay but the hotel staffs some are unfriendly and had little racial discrimination. First day breakfast we request to sit at the corner. This young lady wearing glasses in displeased face said: "seat is arranged by me not you" then walk off. We were so shocked by her attitude. Later, came one western couple requested seat and she responded yes with a smile. And they don't let you pack breakfast or eat earlier before 7:30am if you have an early train to catch. Anyway their breakfast so so only so save your $ on breakfast. I will definitely not going to stay here again as not worth the price.

We unexpectedly found ourselves in Zermatt during an unusual and tense time in April 2025, and we truly cannot thank the team at Tradition Julen Hotel enough. Despite the challenges—no electricity, high emotions, and general chaos—the Julen family went above and beyond to make us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately clean, and run with a professionalism that’s matched only by the warmth of the people behind it. Rebecca and Sophia were so generous with their time and energy, offering support, calm, and fairness when it was most needed. It’s rare to find a hospitality team that truly cares this deeply about their guests. We’ll absolutely be back—next time by choice, not by serendipitous inconvenience—and we’ll be recommending Tradition Julen Hotel to everyone we know.
