If you ever come to Luzern (not Amsterdam, like in the song from a Dutch band), you have to visit this place. It's the equivalent to the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, a place where you literally breathe the charm of a time gone by all too quickly, a time of elegance, style and sophistication. Decorated and furnished in the classic way it automatically puts you at ease and in the right state of mind. And what's more, it has an international selection of quality newspaper for reading.

As mentioned two days ago, the experience at the Lobby Lounge was exceptionally bad this time. We went for diner at 7pm-7 30pm and then we had an hour waiting time with a kid. The service blamed the kitchen, and said they had to prioritise room service. But it wasn't congruent with the service as they also forgot the olives we ordered in the meantime. Also when it's an hour and 15mn late, for a burger without anything inside (just the meat and the bread for a child). I expect not to be raw. Last but not least we asked for bread to wait for the meantime, and she asked at the end if she still needs to bring the bread as the food is coming. All in all a disappointing experience, which I hope to be better next time. But with 4 staff in the evening at the lobby in the service, I expected a better and more preemptive service, for a 180chf bill, even if kitchen had a so called delay. Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 1 Service: 1
