What a place! Beautiful decor made to look like the inside of an old ship, stunning especially the 'portholes' with the old photos inside. Fantastic friendly service, we were made to feel extremely welcome. The food, just delicious! The flavours were exquisite, just the right amount of spice, bursting with those lovely thai herbs & sauces. We only found this by chance, had tried searching when in the UK but nothing came up, only the Japanese upstairs. So glad we walked past & booked. Best meal we've had in Zermatt so far! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: CHF 100+

Frutze (butchering the spelling) and all the staff was super accommodating, quick, and patient when i was indecisive about eating thai or japanese. The food was wonderful! Love switzerland but can only eat so much swiss and italian. Definitely go here if youre visiting zermatt. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I were looking for a last minute place to have dinner. We stumbled upon Rua Thai and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had Fabrizio as our server. He was so kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a cozy meal with great service in Zermatt. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
