Sia il Museum Strauhof che Neue Taverne sono consigliati dai visitatori. Carpe diem ā la cucina vegetariana ti sta aspettando. L'ineguagliabile pasta ti impressionerĆ al primo assaggio. Prova questo ristorante per assaggiare delle curatissime brioches. Ordina l'ottimo vino.
Immagina una combinazione tra pasti fantastici e un personale fichissimo: ĆØ esattamente ciĆ² che offre Neue Taverne. Come affermano parecchi ospiti, il servizio ĆØ veloce. Ć un ristorante una stella Michelin, riconoscimento che viene di solito attribuito perchĆ© vengono proposti piatti deliziosi.

Tendenzialmente deluso. Da uno stellato mi aspetto che almeno una delle portate siano un Ā«Ā wow!Ā Ā» che anche dopo alcuni mesi ripensandoci rievochi un bel ricordo. Purtroppo non ĆØ stato il caso. Riproveremo in estate con il menu estivo.

Food was good but overpriced. For two people we paid around 300 CHF for tasting menu with no alcohol. Deserts were the best. Service was ok but not as good as you would expect in the Michelin restaurant. We also ordered milkbread which never arrived. I donāt think we will visit again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHFĀ 100+ Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Pickled Vegetables, Sourdough Bread

Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with our visit to the Neue Taverne. My guests and I were really looking forward to this visit and our expectations were high. We had two vegans with us and decided to order the Vegan Tavolata for everyone. Unfortunately, not a single course could convince us. Everything was 'fine', but that was it. None of the courses made me or my guests say 'Wow, that tastes great'. The taste was rather basic. I wondered all evening whether the vegetarian menu would have been a better choice. If so, perhaps you shouldn't offer the vegan menu. The competition for vegan fine dining in Zurich has become very strong in recent years and if you can't keep up with this level, you may want to take it off the menu or adjust the price. The sharing concept didn't convince me either. When it comes to a tavolata served to the whole table, I imagine something different than the two plates for four people to share. Unfortunately, the service didn't make this experience any better. At first he was nice, but after a while they didn't seem to be interested in us anymore. During two courses the service forgot that we had ordered the vegan menu and explained vegetarian ingredients. When I asked whether we had now switched from the vegan to the vegetarian menu, they apologized and said that it was vegan. We weren't given more water once. I asked about the spice/flour when making sourdough bread and was told he would have to ask the kitchen about it. I didn't get an answer all evening. On top of that, we were still hungry after the surprise menu. When I go out to eat in this price range, I definitely expect more.
