We celebrated New Years at this restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was superbly cooked and the staff were very nice. To Brazilians: My wife and I have been having lunch and dinner in different restaurants every day for almost 20 days in Italy. The Mamalia restaurant, inside the Double Tree By Hilton Rome Monti hotel, was the best surprise we had. One of the best dinners of the entire trip. We ordered a smoked carpaccio which was the best I've had in my life, a saffron risotto and a steak with potatoes. Everything wonderful. What enhances the experience is being able to follow the meal preparation process through a huge glass window that displays the entire kitchen to the restaurant's customers. An even more pleasant surprise was a shot of limoncello that we received from the team at the end of dinner and it was wonderful. I recommend dedicating one night of your itinerary to Mamalia.
