The crown hall shrouded in legend. I reserved a table, which had the wrong last name and was not prepared when I arrived and was left in the middle of the restaurant when I was seated to wait. You could literally feel the gaze of the guests present, which definitely increased the inconvenience. I had to do the cloakroom service myself. They were neither shown, offered, nor made aware of in any other way. They admitted that the table was not prepared and they did not apologize, but rather blamed the waiter for not preparing the table (not that the chef de service had to check the stations before service began). I was not offered to bridge the waiting time at the bar, so I took the initiative myself. From now on, the service team from the bar and then the station waitress, who had even trained in the Kronenhalle, convinced me. The presentation of the food was authentic and tasted really good. I really liked the service and I rarely say that these days. The hospitality and organizational skills of the chef de service/host, who do assembly line work and are less aware of their responsibility as the permanent first contact with the restaurant, were really weak. When I went out for a smoke I had to deposit valuables, which I found very suspicious, but apparently the company had had bad experiences, but it's still sad that you can't get a benefit of trust these days, even though my wardrobe was "deposited". Gladly again would be a lie, despite good service at the table. I would have really wanted to report a nice experience, which unfortunately wasn't possible under the circumstances. Somewhere sad about Ms. Zumsteg's legacy. In your presence, this treatment of me as a single young person would not have happened. I might even have been offered a newspaper or information material about local art, which I grabbed from the neighboring tables that had left. Bottom line: Organization was a waste, under the circumstances I didn't even need to make a reservation because they weren't prepared for me anyway. They didn't acknowledge my inconvenience and didn't apologize. The expected food and drink at least met the expectation of such a place. At least it's nice that the chef de rang isn't spread out with an oversized station and that you can and want to still offer adequate service. But only thanks to instructions from the late Mr. humsteg. Without this you would already be on the business administration path that will drive us all to ruin. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
