Doba restaurant and terrace è vicinissimo al Palazzo Francavilla. La cucina italiana è molto ben fatta in questo ristorante. Molti ospiti consigliano di assaggiare gli esotici risotto, gamberi e pasta. Ottimi toast francese e torta al cioccolato possono essere quello che ti ci vuole. Inizia il pasto con un delizioso vino.
Il paziente personale accoglie sempre i visitatori al meglio, in qualsiasi momento dell'anno. Rimarrai sicuramente contento del veloce servizio. Pagherai dei prezzi adeguati per i piatti. Superb!!! Wish I was there now! I had the absolute privilege of celebrating New Year’s Eve 2024 at Doba Restaurant and Terrace, which had a been a dream of mine after seeing photos and videos of their 2023 celebration. I must say it exceeded my expectations on every level, and I don’t think anything can ever top this experience for me - unless I’m lucky enough to get there for NYE 2025! New Years Eve at Doba should be on everyone’s Bucket List, but I would also greatly recommend the restaurant for any day of the year! First off - the proprietors are the loveliest people on the planet, and do everything to make you feel like family! The setting - with rooftop facing the gorgeous Palermo Opera House and panoramic view over the city is magical. And the creations from the incredibly talented chef/owner Domenico Basile - served ever so elegantly - are the most delectable works of art! ! My mouth is watering as I write this. I visited Doba on October 2nd, 2024 alone while looking to enjoy a good sunset and I got so much more than what I bargained for. When I say this was probably my favorite meal of all my trips to Italy, it’d probably be an understatement. Let’s start off with the perfection of a house cocktail I had, I saw someone enjoying it and asked for the same and please- just ask for the drink in my picture. I am probably not capturing the entirely of its flavor profile but it is 50% sangria 50% Hugo spritz and 100% delicious. The complimentary amuse bouche was the perfect burst of flavor with three intricate and distinct dishes. The tuna tartare could not have been fresher if they chopped the tuna at my table. It was exquisite- citrusy but not cutting and overwhelming. The flavors complemented each other and really everything else I had after. The ravioli- there are no words. I was going to have just one bite- I literally could not even get a picture it was that good. The house made seafood ravioli with the most heavenly sauce served on the family’s fine China. I could cry. It’s been months and I still think about this. But here is the piece de resistance. I couldn’t decide what dessert I wanted and this was made specifically for me as I said I loved cherries. I don’t particularly like sweets, never have but this brownie/cake with crème fraiche/marscapone is the stuff of dreams. The service, the atmosphere and the views were just perfection. I felt most welcome here after traveling alone throughout the country for 3 weeks. If I ever find myself again in Sicily, Doba will be my first stop. We celebrated our anniversary here. Great spot for a more elevated and intimate dinning experience. You get great views of the Massimo Theater from the outdoor seating area. The food was tasteful and pleasantly introduced to us by the chef&owner. We were also served a few small appetizers from the house just for that extra flavor experience. The service was great and the staff very friendly, polite and attentive with you. Service: Dine in Price per person: €90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
