Dopo una lunga passeggiata attorno al Platzspitz Park, visita questo posto per una gradevole pausa. Questo ristorante offre ai suoi ospiti cucina spagnola e svizzera. Vieni in questo ristorante per una pausa e ordina gli ottimi jamon, vitello e crocchette. Difficilmente ti scorderai dei deliziosi vino o champagne che puoi goderti qui. Delusione completa!
Ho mangiato il 14 agosto alle ore 20,00 il Chef's Coice. Piatti che non dicono nulla, solo descrizioni roboanti che confondono il consumatore per poi portare dei miscugli di cibo con sapori confusi e la materia prima coperta nel sapore. Il tutto in un ambiente senza aria condizionata con 32 gradi all'esterno e le finestre aperte! Per educazione non ho abbandonato la Sala! Chicca della serata: servire pane caldo con 30 gradi all'interno della sala e sudore che gronda sul viso. Non parliamo poi del prezzo scandaloso!!!! Ricordavo le delizie che proponeva il precedente Chef Antonio Colaianni. Da EVITARE accuratamente vista la vasta offerta zurighese.

Very nice restaurant, good food, nice and attentive service! It’s not a tapas place, it’s more a restaurant. Fish and meat main corses, large variety of starters. Prices normal Zürich range (starters between 13 and 24 chf and main courses 46-64 chf). We all liked it, but we’re surprised that it wasn’t fully booked maybe due to holiday season. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The MESA Madrid restaurant has been recommended to us on several occasions. Read about the Spanish Embassy giving an award. Now that was the trigger. The 3 tram stations from Central were more than worth it. 30 degrees outside, so we decided to go inside. Neat interior. Warm welcome from the hostess. We decided on a business lunch. Gaspazcho, cold - made for the summer day. Finely poured at the table, over fresh tomato/bread croutons. 5/5 stars. My companion chose the cod, I chose the beef tenderloin and - well, I just love them - Spanish roast potatoes. But there are 3 side dishes of your choice. Despite the business lunch price, I was able to change the side dish without hesitation. No extra charge. 5/5 On a 30°C day we decided on open wine. Whiter, smoother. Spain. An Oho rosé wine and then another - classic from Ribera-del-Duero - red wine. Bottles stayed at the table (first thought we were misunderstood and would have ordered a whole bottle) but no, glasses that were served were charged. So here too. Seems to be so common among Spanish restaurants here in ZH. Friendly. Reminds me of an old Italian. There was also the bottle on the table and the accounts were settled on the paper tablecloth. Not here at the Mesa Madrid - nickel-clean, solid, white fabric tablecloths. Place invites you to linger. We skipped dessert because it was already 2:20 p.m. and hurried to pay. We forgot the time and not the slightest sign from the staff that it was time. Sorry for the delay, but made a great impression. You're welcome to come back here. Very soon and then a whole bottle will be on the table. Wine cabinet promises big things. Thank you very much. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
