We are genuinely sorry that you left feeling disappointed, as this was never our intention.We would just like to clarify one important point that may have caused the misunderstanding. At Impastè, our pizza dough is prepared with a 48-hour fermentation process and produced in limited quantities each day. For this reason, dough is reserved in advance for customers who have booked a table or placed takeaway orders earlier in the day.The takeaway pizzas you saw being collected during your visit were not orders accepted after your arrival; they had already been pre-ordered and their dough had been allocated in advance. Unfortunately, this may have given the impression that we were treating dine-in and takeaway guests differently, but that was not the case.In fact, later that evening a large reservation was reduced in number, freeing up additional dough. As soon as this happened, we came to your table and offered you the opportunity to order another pizza, but you kindly declined and told us that one pizza was enough.We are also sorry that you felt unwelcome, because we strive to make every guest feel welcome, regardless of whether they have a reservation or where they come from. When you paid, we asked if everything had been alright, and we were pleased to hear that it was.
