Bellissimo locale su Piazza Navone, servizio ottimo del cameriere che si è occupato di noi. Bagni pulitissimi con un inserviente dedicato. Tartufo buonissimo. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My recent visit to Ristorante Tre Scalini was quite disappointing. While the location on the piazza is undeniably central and convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. We were first approached by a very persistent and pushy gentleman at the entrance, who aggressively insisted that their food was "the best" and to tell him if it wasn't. This high-pressure tactic was off-putting from the start, and in hindsight, perhaps a warning sign. Once seated (a party of 4), the service quickly deteriorated. Our server seemed completely uninterested in engaging with us. Questions about the menu were met with visible annoyance, and on multiple occasions, the server would simply walk away mid-sentence to attend to potential new customers walking by. It felt as though their priority was solely on attracting new patrons rather than providing proper service to those already seated. This lack of attentiveness and genuine interaction was frustrating throughout the meal. As for the food, it was just alright – certainly not "the best" as promised. It wasn't bad, but it was far from memorable and didn't justify the overall pricey cost, even for a prime location. Given the pushy sales tactics and the poor, inattentive service, it seems their aggressive approach to getting customers in the door might be compensating for shortcomings elsewhere. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
