È il cibo indiano migliore che io abbia mangiato a Zurigo. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e il rapporto qualità prezzo è giusto. Ci tornerò presto sicuramente!!! I recently visited Taj Mahal in Zurich after hearing about it several times, and overall the experience was fairly positive, although there were a few aspects that could be improved. As soon as I entered, the restaurant felt welcoming, with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The décor reflects traditional Indian style well and creates a relaxing environment, suitable for both a dinner date and an evening with friends or family. The staff was courteous from the beginning and willing to explain some of the menu items. Regarding the food, the menu offers a good variety of typical Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryani, and vegetarian options. I tried several dishes, including butter chicken, naan, and biryani rice. The butter chicken had a creamy, well-seasoned sauce with a nice balance of sweetness and spices. The naan was also soft and well baked. However, some dishes felt slightly too oily, and considering Zurich prices, the portion sizes were not particularly generous. One of the less convincing aspects was the waiting time. Even though the restaurant was not completely full, the service was quite slow between courses. This made the overall experience feel less smooth. I would also have appreciated more attention to detail, such as checking on water refills or following up during the meal. In terms of value for money, the restaurant is decent but not exceptional. The food quality is generally good, but at these prices I would expect more consistency in both the kitchen and the service. Overall, Taj Mahal is a good restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Zurich, with interesting flavors and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there is room for improvement, especially in service and time management. I would return, but with moderate expectations.
