Dopo aver visto l' Amtshaus, vai a mangiare in Suan Long. Un certo numero di ospiti di questo ristorante fanno notare che qui propongono manzo e pollo fritto ottimi. Parecchi visitatori riportano che il personale è cortese qui. Rimarrai sicuramente contento dell'encomiabile servizio. Suan Long offre pasti a prezzi popolari. Come rimarcano molti critici, l'atmosfera è simpatica. Ma gli utenti di Google hanno valutato questo locale e non si è meritato un punteggio molto alto.

I asked for the vegetarian menu and the server pointed to a dish that looked like a lot of vegetables and packed it up for me. However, when I took it out to eat, I noticed that it contained a ridiculous amount of chicken - almost half of the entire dish. He forgot to mention that. What he did not forget, was to tell me multiple times that the dish was spicy. Once would have been sufficient. After the fourth time, I felt as if he implied that a white person could not handle the spice. The dish was moderately spicy, btw. I don‘t think I‘ll be back. There are much better options at HB. Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian options: Apparently yes, but be sure to check your container.

The first stop on our Zurich trip, and unfortunately, a disappointing one. My husband and I were both hungry and went with something familiar — Chinese food. Suan Long has pre-made dishes like sweet and sour chicken, noodles, and rice that they quickly plate and serve. I asked for plain flat noodles and a chicken dish in sauce (both costing 20 CHF), but was surprised that they combined both items onto a single plate without asking. Service was very basic: order, pay, and find a seat — no fuss, but also no warmth or attention to detail. As for the food… it was okay. Edible, but nothing more. It felt more like a fallback option when you don’t have other choices, not a place you’d choose intentionally. Sadly, not somewhere I’d return.
