We stayed two nights (early September 2024) at this hotel while traveling around Switzerland. This was our second time and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was nicely appointed and comfortable. Like most hotels in Switzerland the air-conditioning is a touch anemic but you can open windows at this time of year. The beds were comfortable but the duvet covers tend to be overly warm. We removed the duvet insets and just covered with the sheets which was just right. Our stay included breakfast which was very nice and included pretty much anything you could want including baked goods, cheeses, meats and bacon. You could order omelets or any other kind of eggs. The breakfast seating area was very nice and spacious. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was across the street from the hotel next to the lake. Good food and service. The hotel also has several outdoor seating areas where you can order drinks and snacks and enjoy the scenery and relax. There are many other restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you're in this area I highly recommend this hotel. Service: 5

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel and it was just as good as the first time. The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is a small, cozy hotel with a very sublime appearance, located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore. It is a family business, well run and employs staff who are very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Garden Suite, a well-appointed, spacious suite that exudes traditional elegance and style. All in all a lovely place to visit and one we will return to again. A big thank you to everyone. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet
