If you happen to visit this little shop close to Fontana di Trevi and you mean to spend less than 10 euros move on and do not stop: you could be sent away from the owner (or manager?) himself. It is not that the price worths the candle, anyway. It is that this man, maybe burnt out, does not know the ABC of the good seller. It is what happened to me yesterday, when it was raining and I wanted to take a little snack before going back working. I used to go there because till yesterday he seemed to be very kind, maybe artifacts. Once I surprised him, after showing off the best of his smiles of convenience, to address in a completely different tone to one of his employees. Which employees had the same smile of convenience, almost forced.

However I always came back because everyone likes to be treated with courtesy.

When I entered yesterday the owner / manager told me rude: the umbrella outside, pointing to an umbrella stand at the exit. Naturally I remained close to the exit, for fear of not finding the umbrella anymore, and to wet myself accordingly. A lady came in and had the same problem. Same scene. We looked each other and we mumbled that it was not a very comforting treatment, since in Rome leaving the umbrella unattended means 70% not to find it anymore. The owner heard us and continued: "something is wrong?". "It's wrong because if I leave the umbrella here I can not find it anymore". The answer was arrogant, rude and inappropriate: "And I have to wet my shop because you are afraid that you are loosing the umbrella? This is a local, not a house!". "Then give me an envelope, please" I replied. Then he gave me an answer, which no longer leaves any doubt: "you take 2 euros of pizza and I should give you an envelope? But go away! For two euros of pizza!".
Telling the truth it was 2.50 for an invisible pizza, with two potatoes on top and also cold. In fact I did not go for the quality of food, I know merchants often think we do not spend too much in their shops, but it never happened to me to hear it in such a way from one of them, in front of everybody!
