There’s nothing worse than a meal that fizzles out at the finish line. After mains were cleared, we were ready to keep the night going — a bit more wine, maybe a dessert. But that’s where things went off the rails. We sat there for 25 minutes, invisible to the staff, while the place was practically empty. When we finally gave up and went inside to ask for the bill, it was like we’d asked for a favor. The food itself wasn’t exactly memorable. The meat was average at best, and the sides tasted like an afterthought, with bland flavors that didn’t justify the steep prices. We’re talking fine-dining costs for a mid-level experience. You pay for the meat per kilo ordered. We wanted 1.5kg (500g per person), we were talked into 2kg and when it came the cut weighed 2.4kg which we ended up having to pay for. Only the 2.4kg included the bone and the meat we ended up with wasn’t as much as we expected (see photo). It took two more reminders and another 20 minutes before we finally got the bill, along with a “complimentary” dessert platter. A gesture of goodwill? Maybe. But what arrived was a sad scattering of stale Panettone chunks with a half-hearted raspberry drizzle, like an afterthought that didn’t quite land. Not exactly the sweet ending we were hoping for — more like a disappointing conclusion to what could have been a solid night. I had a wonderful, memorable meal here. The MDB dessert is life changing!! Wonderfully prepared right in front of you by a fabulous waiter. Stunning!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our visit to Museo della Bistecca was marred by a series of disappointments. Initially, we were given the green light for tea, but this quickly turned into a conditional offer, dependent on ordering dinner. We decided to stay, hoping for a pleasant evening, but what followed only added to our frustration. The tea service was underwhelming, with kettles arriving nearly empty, suggesting a lack of attention or perhaps an intent to hasten our departure. To add insult to injury, the bill was presented unprofessionally on a mere scrap of paper, diverging from the standard practice observed for other patrons. This experience left us feeling undervalued and unwelcome. I regret to say that I cannot recommend this establishment and would advise others to seek hospitality elsewhere.
