First of all the interior design on the restaurant looks nice and chic, stands out from typical Chinese restaurants aboard. Unfortunately I didnāt have the similar feeling towards the food. The noodles were over cooked with too much starch added. I wouldnāt recommend this place.

Compared to o a year ago the place is a bit impoverished: there are only 2 people: the boss that cook and the waitress that serve and cook at the same time. Poor girls they are so nice and super friendly but cannot manage a big place in two. Could be because of Covid. Nuddles and dumplings were anyway good.

A group of 10 of us planned to meet at Lucky Dumpling, but were told by the server that they lost our reservation (made two weeks earlier). They sent us to Lucky Noodle instead. Our first round of drinks was comped because of the mix-up on their end, so that was a nice gesture on their part. I ordered the Hongshao pork with homemade noodles (dry) and seasonal vegetables. The server first came out with the beef version, and then tried to convince me to take it since "beef and pork look similar". However, they did exchange the dish eventually for the right one after a bit of a discussion. This same server also didn't come back to check on us, which was disappointing. The food was okay, but I had hoped that the pork would fall apart more (slow cooking) and I expected more thoughtful seasonal vegetables beyond chick peas (from a can?), a bit of red cabbage, and a piece of lettuce. While I fully appreciate and commend their efforts to source protein locally (and also to do right by us regarding the missing reservation), I'm on the fence about whether I would go back to either of these places.
