We had one of the most pleasant stay experience in this jem of historical hotel. The staff was attentive, present, benevolent, caring, everything was soothing. The 4 dishes menu at the Parkrestaurant was delicious, we had dinner twice. We felt there was a general mindset of making everyone comfortable ... of course all this has a cost, but we were happy to contribute to the maintenance of one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. All our gratitude goes to the humanistic commitment of Mr Weber and nowadays Mrs Weber who saved this place from demolition and strive to maintain it as pure and authentic so that all future generations can enjoy the magical universal spirit all the place, the building itself and the spectacular waterfalls and nature around. Thank you for this unforgettable moments

First of all this is one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, however....the service, food selection and atmosphere has degraded to the point that at best, it is little more than an American burger joint experience masquerading as the high quality Swiss cuisine that it once was. It has all the high prices that would justify something nice, but none of the service. You can expect to seat yourself and have the dirty dishes from the prior client there in front of you for your entire meal unless you hijack a waiter that is passing by and physically put it on their tray. You have to go up and wait in line like a fast food joint and pay for the food before it is delivered. You drinks will be ready to be served and sit at the bar for 15mins, your food will be delivered uncooked and not be very good. They only have a handful of ketchup bottle and they are SHARED among clients, so when the table at the other end of the restaurant wants ketchup, the waiter will come and take your bottle away.Do not waste your money on this place. Enjoy the view, save your funds and pack a picnic! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Yesterday, I had a peaceful and relaxing dinner with my partner at the Parkrestaurant Les Cascades of Grandhotel Giessbach. Carlo, with his warm welcome, made us feel at home from the very beginning. A special thank to Giorgia who kindly provided us with some suggestions on the menu. Her advice was much appreciated. Last but not least, a very well-deserved mention to the desserts, simply amazing.
