I came to have lunch for the first time at "le rune" and I must say that for me it was a wonderful discovery! The restaurant is located in Piazza Portello, a stone's throw from Corso Garibaldi, Largo Mint and Piazza Corvetto, key points of the city, an excellent location from a tourist point of view, because, even if slightly hidden, it could attract tourists nearby. The place is of considerable size, divided into two floors, very welcoming and full of decorations, in this case Christmas. To start we tried the focaccias with onion and cherry tomatoes, really good! All the dishes tasted were excellent, the calamarata with cod ciuppin was extremely exceptional, the squid stuffed with shrimp was also excellent, the seared tuna was cooked to perfection, soft and melting in the mouth with delicacy, a Genoese touch with the minestrone, the roast with chard and mushroom flan. All accompanied by a very good, fresh and sparkling superior Prosecco DOP. The bread basket was also delicious, soft and really good tasting. Very courteous service, the owners are polite, kind, but above all they know how to treat the customer, with a smile and kindness, which in this city, which has always been defined as grumpy, never hurts. Correct bill for what we ate and drank. Truly, congratulations to everyone, from the chefs who take care of the dishes in an incredible way and you can see the passion they put into it, to the owners, you can see the commitment and work behind this company. Experience this reality! Parking: Being in the city center it is perhaps more complex to find parking, for convenience and to avoid wandering around to find a hole for the car we parked for a fee at the marina park (for convenience of places) not so far from the place, to take a walk before and after lunch.
