They lost their 2 star Michelin chef last year. Currently it is a new Italian restaurant . The atmosphere is good, service top, but the food is just so so. Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visiting me in Gstaad, my sister and her husband invited me to this restaurant. The food was okay, but not especially memorable and a bit too much in the vein of Michelin “I hope you realize how creative I am” rather than “I want to feed you well, with food you’ll still remember a year from now.” Eight months on, I don’t remember. I do remember we ordered a Meursault which we liked a lot. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant experience at the Michelin starred restaurant Valrose was one of the best dinners of my life. All incredibly balanced, between oriental flavors, French and experimental cuisine. All accompanied by a unique atmosphere and the staff was extremely precise, prepared, but also friendly and informal. The chef then stopped by towards the end of the service to make sure everything was as it should be and spent a few minutes talking to us. What can I say, congratulations to the entire kitchen team and the dining room staff. Two very deserved stars! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
