(Restaurant) Absolutely excellent! I could not fault this place. Fantastic service. Great wine. And the food was unbelievable! I ordered the ‘menu du jour’ but it was such a delight, I would happily try anything on their menu. Starter: Salad sauce was like grandma makes - I almost asked for a bowl of it! The bread was fresh and tasty. The crust just hard enough, and the middle spongy and light. A sprinkling of seeds made this delightful. Main: Vol au vent with chicken & mushroom on a bed of lettuce. This was truly incredible - delicate herbs running through a rich and perfectly cooked puff pastry. Thinly sliced mushrooms and tender chicken pieces. The rice was cooked to perfection and just enough to give the sauce a nice bed. The creamy sauce was packed with favour - all balanced harmoniously. Dessert: (Because it is my birthday and the rest was soooo good!) Carpaccio of pineapple and pina colada sorbet - sweet without being sickly. Light yet filling. Flavoursome yet refreshing. Served with a sprinkling of alpine petals (and a candle! ) I recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone. It is not only amazing, but entirely affordable! The menu du jour (starter and main) is only CHF20.- Bravo Chef Burri! Service: 5
