It is with regret that I learn that your dining experience at our establishments was not satisfactory and for this I offer my heartfelt apologies. La Loggia is indeed our esteemed fine dining venue, hosting a limited number of only eight tables. In light of its popularity and limited seating, our policy necessitates a 48-hour cancellation notice alongside the pre-payment of a EUR 100 deposit per person, charged on the day of reservation. We take great care to communicate this policy transparently through detailed explanations on our website and within the confirmation sent upon booking. It's important to note that La Loggia and San Michele are two distinct restaurants under our brand, each with its individual character, menu offerings, and ambiance. We strive to clearly delineate these differences on our website, I apologize if these distinctions were not sufficiently apparent. Upon your arrival, our Maitre Sommelier Simona graciously agreed to move your reservation to San Michele exceptionally and allowed the transfer of the non-refundable deposit from La Loggia—a courtesy which is not standard practice due to the very exclusive availability at La Loggia. Recognizing that your final bill did not reach the amount covered by your deposit, Simona extended a complimentary bottle of wine and olive oil as a gesture of goodwill towards you, I am sorry if this gesture did not meet its intended mark as an expression of our commitment to guest satisfaction. With hopes of mending your impression, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back for an experience that aligns more closely with both your expectations and our high standards.
