This place is great to sit outside at and the service is very friendly. Unfortunately the food and drinks are sub par. The beef tartare tasted of almost nothing and as if it came from the freezer and for 40 francs, thats a little disappointing. A place of peace where you can be a guest. As before the pandemic, I was there several times over the holidays. Service, food, quality are still all impeccable, at a high level but not exclusive, so that everyone feels comfortable. However, the new outfit is very strange, you will have to get used to it. However, I think it's a shame that white is no longer covered. What is coming back in trendy restaurants has been abolished here too late. The Conrad now has the character of a cheap country pub, with runners and a tasteless jumble of colors. This is only compensated for by the qualified service of the employees and the top cuisine. It's a shame, I have to move on with business guests, because often nothing works in business without a wise table. They probably took a “forever ’69er” as their style advisor.

We were also very pleased to receive your feedback regarding service, food and quality. These points are our top priority and we are obviously on the right track. Of course, there is room for debate when it comes to furnishings and we can certainly understand your concerns. On the other hand, that is exactly what makes the restaurant so charming. We would also like to mention here that the Conrad has never served white - except perhaps on special occasions. As an alternative, we can suggest our Glogge harrow. We have currently set up a Moules & Frites POP UP there, but you can also dine “normally” a la carte and it is covered in white! Best regards from the Glockenhof teamMore
