Difficult case. The reporting on the Juliette bakery was and is quite positive (NZZ Bellevue, Züri Isst). So we went there for a little breakfast at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. The place was very full. However, we found a place on a bench where we could easily eat the food. The experience triggered historical feelings that I will try to summarize as follows. The positive: - Nice selection of salty and sweet dishes. - All products are beautifully made and look extremely appetizing. - The service was friendly. The negative: - Unfortunately, our croissant was rather dry and, to my surprise, bland (only a little of the butter could be tasted). The pain au lait with chocolate pieces was also rather dense and not airy, but we liked it better than the croissant. - The "cappuccino" was bland and consisted of an espresso (Stoll) and UHT milk foam. Unfortunately not edible. The price of CHF 6.50 is incomprehensible for this quality. - The coffees are made and then the barista runs through the restaurant with the cappuccini etc. and asks who they are for. Very inefficient and restless. The ambience does not invite you to linger. I will definitely try the tarts and the sourdough. For now I'm disappointed. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Only had a take away coffee, which was really good! Staff was friendly and prompt. Locally modern and clean. The pastries looked good and creative combinations were offered - something different than the usual bakeries in Zurich. Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
