Good dinner, but expectations were not met The restaurant is located in the historic center of Alba, accessible only on foot. The furnishings are very modern, elegant, perhaps not exactly typical of a tavern. The staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We managed to find a seat but I recommend booking because it can only accommodate a few tables inside. The environment is very quiet, private and intimate but perhaps that's a little too much. The menu is traditional Piedmontese (raw meat, veal, tajarin, plin etc.) with the possibility of adding truffles to each dish. We opted for an appetizer (raw Fassona meat with hazelnuts) and tajarin with ragù: both good but not as excellent as expected (both without truffles). As a second course we both chose the veal cheek with potato cream: very good but the portion was really small. We were also disappointed by the absence of side dishes: the choice would have been between creamed potatoes or baked potatoes, which however were out of stock. We accompanied everything with a bottle of Barbera d'Alba (Pio Cesare at €30). The dinner with two coffees overall cost €111. For the quality-price ratio and portions we were not very satisfied, although we still liked the dinner. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Impressive place, don't expect a classic Osteria with checkered tablecloths, quite the opposite... suitable for people who love a refined and essential environment and urban chic furnishings.... Excellent food and friendly, helpful and polite service... I recommend it heartily Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
