Don't be fooled by the good rating on TripAdvisor and Google! Run away! I rarely leave such negative comments, but the deception is so blatant that this time I'm doing it. Don't be fooled by the excellent rating of this place (which it would be incorrect to call a restaurant). The almost 5 stars seem to come out of nowhere, moreover despite this excellent rating no ranking on specialized sites lists this restaurant, 1st curiosity. We arrived at 1:30 p.m. this Wednesday, September 18. In such a touristy area and with such a rating, the restaurant should have been as full as an egg. This was not the case, we were the only customers at that time. 2nd curiosity which should have alerted us before returning. Finally we entered, after a not very warm and rather strange welcome, we ordered a drink each and two dishes of the day (Rigatoni e polpete). Shortly afterwards we heard very distinctly from the open kitchen multiple clearly identifiable microwave noises, which is never a guarantee of excellent cooking (fans of the show "nightmare in the kitchen" know what I'm talking about). 3rd curiosity which should definitely have made us leave. The plates arrive, the rigatoni are clearly undercooked, the tomato sauce is canned sauce and the meatballs are reheated in the microwave. Clearly nothing is homemade. We still finished our meals and decided to leave to have coffee and dessert elsewhere. Bottom line: €43 for two dishes and two drinks. Totally disproportionate addition given the low quality offered. The €1.50 each charged for cutlery is almost a joke, while other restaurants offer better service without charging for cutlery in the same street. I strongly advise against this place, choose any of the other restaurants in the area, it will definitely be better EDIT following the owner's response: I know very well what time I arrived, it was 1:30 p.m., but I thank you all the same for trying to rectify my schedule. Furthermore, lying to yourself (as well as to potential future customers) will not improve the quality of your cuisine (if there is any temptation) Oddly enough, as soon as a bad comment emerges, 5 stars appear out of nowhere on Google. There is even one where you made a mistake in your copy/paste and you started your “false” comment in the response to your previous customer. At least you're not in denial about microwave-heated preparations, that's already a good start. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
