We had coffee and waffle here a couple of times and it was always wonderful. Both the coffee and the waffle. Inside there is a nice play area for children and my daughter loved it. Recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 20–30

We’ve owned a holiday apartment in Flims for 7 years and have been coming to Ella regularly. The location and concept are great, but there is one serious and long-standing issue that completely ruins the experience. It’s clear that many people make no effort to behave considerately. At Ella, visitors constantly drag chairs with metal legs across the concrete floor, creating extremely loud, sharp, scraping noises all day long. When the café is full, the noise level becomes genuinely uncomfortable. This problem has existed for years, and the solution is incredibly simple: felt pads or rubber caps on chair legs — they cost almost nothing and dramatically reduce noise. Unfortunately, nothing has been done, despite how obvious and intrusive the issue is. It’s disappointing to see such a basic comfort problem ignored for so long in an otherwise popular place. I truly hope the management will finally address this. A small fix would make a huge difference — for guests, staff, and the overall atmosphere. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
