Siamo stati pochi giorni fa e volevamo mangiare fuori sulla terrazza visto il bel tempo, purtroppo non ci hanno voluto servire fuori, il cameriera ci ha informato che nn servono la cena fuori!
Peccato!

To be or not to be, That is not the question. Whether to go or not to go to restaurant chesa. THAT IS the question. And my answer? - Yes. Our venture through the culinary expertise of the staff of the amazing kitchen was immaculate. Food was served hot and not cold, crispy and juicy (depending on the meal) Dessert was to die for, and our taste buds were taken to heaven and back. Honestly great. Service was friendly, like a week long holiday stay at your relative's house in the city who you love dearly. The main courses were served in a timely manner and dishes such as Cordon Bleu, and Flank Steak were served. Presentation as a whole was of high quality. The flavours of the dishes were intense, immersive and for some brought back memories. The warmth of the plate radiating joy among the table. Only note about the food was that fries with the cordon bleu were served seperately from the dish, leaving bowls of freshly made fries to be fought upon as dinner guests strived to earn as many of the crispy potato sticks as they could. The war for fries was intense. Blood was shed, tears streamed down onto our plates. But in the end our stomachs were left satisfied with the flavour and experience that our main course brought. Now, for the most important topic... Dessert. Dessert options were presented on a chalk board twice my size, and left me covered with choices of deliciously delicious desserts to pick. I, and many others went for the chocolate mousse tart. Which was served with a scoop of berry gelato, white chocolate ganache, nuts, and a berry concentrate. I have never been more happy with a dessert that my chocolate mousse tart. I was left in shock. In horror. But not from pain or disgust. From the amazing, heavenly, astonishing, phenomenal, stunning, awesome, marvellous flavours that were layed upon my tongue. I almost cried. There and then. so to whoever made that tart. I love you. (Seriously.) Also, by the way. Our server gave us cutlery and placed it in a orderly and swift motion perfectly upon the table. It was beautiful to watch. Like it was the Mona Lisa being made in front of our very eyes. He placed the cutlery at AN ANGLE. IT WAS AMAZING. So thank you for our dining experience.

The restaurant here was amazing.( we did not stay here, just had dinner) The staff is a well oiled machine and work extremely well together, making for exceptional service. The food was outstanding, the sole dish was a special for night and was beautifully cooked. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu. Chris was our waiter and had exceptional knowledge on wine pairings with the meals chosen. If you are in Flims or Laax, this should be on your list. You will need a reservation though.
