Ah, Pizza! A little corner of Italy in the heart of the city with pizzas that will make your taste buds sing and prices that won't break the bank well, in theory! Everything starts well, we feel transported by the molto autentica atmosphere and the smiling waiters who say “Ciao bella!” everything goes. The pizzas? Perfect! The golden crust, the fresh and generous ingredients, we enjoyed it. Between the margherite, the quattro stagioni and the diavole, everyone was delighted. And the prices? Really reasonable for the quality, bravissimo! But this is where the story takes a slightly more tragicomic turn. When we had to pay, we discovered an addition of €200! A surprise piccola, given that we had ordered for €95. Yes, a small calculation error, according to the server. Well, that's what we thought until we took out our calculators (thanks school!) and proved that no no, it wasn't just a little slip-up, but an attempt to make us pay twice the price. Despite our precise calculations, the server persisted, assuring us it was correct. Mamma mia! We had to arm ourselves with patience, a smile (and a little firmness) to resolve this inconvenience. Eventually, everything was back to normal, but it left a bit of a bitter taste, a bit like an overcooked pizza. So, if you go to Ristorante Da Charlie, prepare to enjoy good dishes without breaking the bank, but keep a close eye on the bill, so as not to end up with a molto spiacevole surprise!
