Best time? Between November and January, white truffle heaven, fried eggs with shaved truffles as a starter and fresh pasta on a truffle infused cream sauce with fresh thinly shaved truffles on top.

Das Contrapunto liegt sehr zentral gelegen direkt am Paradeplatz. Das Restaurant isch optisch meiner Meinung nach etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist sehr gut besucht, es lohnt sich also immer zu reservieren. Leider ist es dadurch auch etwas laut. Der Geschäftsführer sowie die Angestellten sind sehr zuvorkommend und man fühl sich willkommen. Die Küche präsentiert authentische, frische italienische Küche. Mir persönlich hat es der Risotto sowie die hausgemachten Tagliarini mit weissem Trüffel angetan, purer Genuss! Preislich befindet sich das Contrapunto auf erhöhtem Preisniveau, finde ich jedoch durch die Qualität, dem Angebot sowie der Lage gerechtfertigt - man befindet sich ja auch in Zürich!

We had a large work dinner party here and I ordered the truffle risotto. It was very bland and the rice was overcooked. Also, and more importantly, the server rudely refused my colleague and I any wine from the decanter which they kept on OUR TABLE for our coworkers at an adjacent table, even though we informed the server we were all part of the same party and our company was covering everything. The server made us go ask our coworker who ordered the bottle to give us permission to drink from it as if we were little children. It was humiliating and rude. Suffice it to say, we will never come back.
