La cucina italiana è molto ben fatta in questo pub & bar. Non c'è niente di meglio che provare l'ottimo filetto americano. Vino o cordiale deliziosi ti stanno aspettando al pub & bar Le Massif Courmayeur. È una piacevole esperienza ordinare il fantastico caffè.

One of the rare occasions I write a dissatisfactory review - We paid for use of the spa at Le Massif Courmayeur, since we already had accommodation elsewhere and felt it would be nice to end a day of skiing with a local spa. We do this sort of thing often when on holiday. The cost was 100 euro per person (400 euros in total for us), which included use of an indoor/outdoor ‘pool’, sauna, steam room and ‘cryotherapy’. A nice lady showed us around the basement facility, however the experience was unfortunately underwhelming. There were no thrills, and I’d certainly say it’s not good value for money. The pool was comically small, the photos are a tad deceiving, there is enough room to sit around the edge with a few people, but its waist deep at most. Separated by automatic glass doors, you’re able to step through to the smaller outdoor section of the pool, which is considered is considered a hot tub but only at pool temperature. The glass was limescale and a tad grotty. The general fit and finish of the entire spa wasn’t great, including areas of damp. The steam room had no scent, just old water smell. The sauna was good. There was a switched-off outdoor hot tub which they were claiming was a ‘cold water treatment’ (credit for creativity). The changing rooms were strangely small, with many lockers but barely enough space for two people. There were water stains and leaks from the pool on the ceiling above. The shower handle fell off in hand. I feel what is available is all perfectly fine if you’re a hotel guest whom gets it included with the cost of the room, I wouldn’t expect anything more from a hotel (our own hotel had less). However at 100 euro per person, this is not good value, and probably shouldn’t be advertised as a luxury spa for external guests (at this price point), to save disappointment. The hotel/reception on the other hand is a very nice place to be, lots of space, nice atmosphere, modern and a good bar. I can imagine this is reflected in the rooms. It’s a shame the spa experience lacking. If the spa cost was amended to 40 euros per person, this would better reflect the experience. We didn’t get any extra treatments, such as massages etc, so we can’t comment on those. Hotel highlights: Luxury
