After visiting this bar several times with always a having had a good time, yesterday I arrived at the bar at 16.45 wanting to order a coffee. My friend and I ordered one of the special coffees of the season. The waitress told us they only served coffee until 17 so we couldn’t get one anymore. Apparently 16.45 is already 17 for her. After that she brought us the menu to check what we could get warm and she kind of threw the menu on the table. Finally we asked if we could get at least a tea and she said rudely yes and that we had to go to the bar to check which one since she didn’t know what they had. I’ve been several times at the bar and I always had a great experience. The behaviour of this waitress was really unwelcoming and if it would depend on her I wouldn’t go back. Thanks god the rest of the service is very good. Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

The B1 Rooftop Bistro definitely is the latest highlight of Basel. The number of visitors is limited to 100 people and there are sometimes queues outside. The 360 degree view over Basel is fantastic, sunset included. Only card payment possible. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
