Quando entri in questo posto, noti subito l'atmosfera gioviale. Gli esperti Michelin hanno visitato questo posto, che ha poi avuto il riconoscimento selezione Michelin.

Elegant and sophisticated restaurant of the Movenpick hotel. The service is attentive and fast, with kind and smiling waiters. We visited the restaurant for dinner and tried some dishes a la carte (they offer a tasting menu from 120 chf per person, but we were more intrigued by individual dishes). As started we tried Lobster Tiradito and Tuna ceviche, both greatly composed, super tasty and worth the visit to the restaurant. As main dish we tried the scallops served in a tom kha gai soup and the lomo saltado, perfect cooking time for both, and every part of the dish was nicely balanced. Their signature cocktail pisco sour was a great match for our dinner, but we knew this already as we often go to Movenpick cocktail bar. Dulcis in fundo, their dessert Jivara chocolate with salted butter caramel and Kombawa mousse were simply amazing. Our experience at Puro Mövenpick Basel was truly disappointing. The prices are absurdly high, and the portion sizes are ridiculously small—more like an amuse-bouche than a proper meal. To make matters worse, they even charged CHF 6 for a tiny piece of bread! The price-to-quality ratio is completely off. I was so unsatisfied that I literally went to another restaurant afterward just to have a dessert—something I rarely have! Definitely not recommended—there are plenty of better and fairer restaurants in Basel. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
