The food here is phenomenal! The caldo mare (seafood stew) was bursting with flavour and the lasagna was by far the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent as well and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend! This place is a real hidden gem. Really recommend the sirloin steak with rucola pesto, the risotto and the Baba for dessert. Service was really good as well, the owner took time to explain the food to us! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first meal since arriving in Florence. We are vegetarian/flexitarian and were looking for someplace with many options... Anima Osteria Italiana hit the mark! We had 2 antipasti (bruschetta and vegetarian millefoglie), 3 main dishes (gnocchi, spaghetti pomodoro, and risotto), and of course we saved room for dessert (white chocolate sphere with mangoes and cream, and pistachio pop over with pistachio cream filling). Everything was delicious! The service was amazing! Their staff was very welcoming and everyone speaks English. The menu is also translated into English. The ambiance is pleasant. We chose patio seating. It was definitely a warm evening, but the fans on the patio made it quite comfortable! Thank you for a wonderful dinner! We will be returning! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
