5 stars are not enough. Anou is an amazing host in an exceptional location. The food is unbelievable tasty, balanced, seasoned, creative, plant-based, and healthy. Moreover, it is great value for money. Highly recommended to anybody staying or living in Geneva. We will for sure come back again Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were very excited to try their South Indian brunch after seeing the post on the restaurant’s Instagram page but unfortunately, overall, the experience was rather disappointing. We had made a reservation for 13:00 for a group of 10 people, two weeks in advance. When we got to the restaurant, the previous group was still finishing up their meal. It’s a small place with a single table, so we had to wait until they left. Once we were seated, they had to bring an extra chair for our friend, because there weren’t enough space at the table. Based on the Instagram post, we had not realized the brunch was an open buffet concept but right off the bat, for a brunch that costs 45CHF at a chef’s restaurant, it was strange to see a table set up with plastic cups and utensils in my personal opinion. However, the worst part was that by the time we made it to our reservation, there were not much food left. They had ran out of the sambar (which is one of the main dishes) after one small serving per person. They had also ran out of the vada (the fried lentil dumplings) after serving one per person. Everything else was also finished up very quickly, including the masala dosa. We were told that the previous group had multiple rounds of food, and since everything had been made freshly, they were unable to anticipate the right amount of food to prepare for the day. Even though I understand their side of the argument, I still think they could’ve done a better job at managing the situation since this is a reservation only place. It felt like we were having some leftovers for the same amount of money. To compensate, the chef offered our group some fried lentil dumplings but that didn’t make up for the food we came for. That being said, I really appreciated the fact that the chef/owner of the restaurant really took the time for checking in/getting our feedback and explaining why this has been the case. But overall, for such an expensive brunch, even by Geneva standards, sadly it was not worth it, I would have expected more. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CHF 40–50

A Table Chez Anou was an delicious private dining experience with 8 friends. We booked the experience easily using the booking form, and showed up for our dinner to find a 6 course menu being prepared just for us. Everything was super fresh and delicious (and to my surprise as a non plant based eater, very filling!). The chefs are wonderful and walk you through each course explaining their inspirations from various regions in India. The menu was refined, the experience casual and convivial. I would not hesitate to recommend booking for a night to catch up with friends, a business apero, or a special occasion. You can make yourself at home while enjoying a super high quality dinner.
