Piccolo ristorante sotto uno dei hotel storici del paese. Il locale è interrato senza finestre e avrebbe bisogno di un ricambio d’aria maggiore. Il menu è ristretto ma ben curato. La fondue è buona ed è il piatto forte della cucina e viene offerto in diverse varianti. We booked saycheese! after reading the fantastic reviews here. What a letdown! The staff was incredibly rude from the moment we sat down - we have two young kids in the group and had their water bottle at the table. The hostess darted over and firmly said “take that bottle off the table.” We were confused, but did as told, and poured glasses for the kids. She came back and reprimanded us, explaining that “in Switzerland it is not custom to bring your own beverages to the restaurant.” To add insult to injury, the large 10 CHF water bottles were “unavailable,” and we had to purchase small bottles for 8 CHF. They also completely forgot to bring the kids meal, and when I followed up with a server, he never came back to provide an update. We had to follow up again, and then the kids meal arrived 20 min later. The server did not apologize, only explaining that it was “made fresh.” Food was good, but not a great value. Families beware. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
