Non solo merita di visitare il Porta San Biagio ma anche santavoglia. Qui di possono assaggiare la cucina italiana e mediterranea. A giudicare dall'opinione dei critici, qui i camerieri servono pesce e calamari ottimi. Curatissimo gelato potrebbero essere quello che ti ci vuole. Grazie Mille to Antonio and Barbara and the team for one of the best meals we ever had in our life. We came back two nights in a row. We stayed in Lecce for a week and it was the best meal we had. Try everything!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service was friendly and attentive, the restaurant was beautifully appointed with a nice ambiance, and the bread with olive oil emulsion was delicious, creative, and perfectly executed. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive highlights end. I appreciate what the chef is trying to do. The menu is extremely creative, however many of the dishes we ordered were executed poorly. The escabeche squid had an extremely overpowering vinegar flavor. The squid was fried, but then soaked in vinegars and served over potatoes, so the crust got very soggy and the whole dish lacked any texture or flavor besides vinegar. The langoustine came raw which was very unexpected based on the menu description. The sauce was so salty and the rice patty was dry and lacked flavor. I really hate to write a bad review and hurt a small business, but I felt compelled to share my experience to help others. We only had 3 nights in Lecce and did extensive research to make sure we’d pick the best 3 restaurants in the city. I was so surprised at all the good reviews once we tried the food. Out of 2 weeks in Puglia and the Amalfi Coast this was our worst meal and most expensive one. I wish I had seen one honest review like this one before our trip and I hope this helps someone else have a wonderful trip. Lecce is a beautiful city and a culinary delight (outside of Santavoglia) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I wish I could say differently but this was a very bad meal. Nice people, well appointed but in eating 49 dinners in Italian restaurants this past year, this was the worst meal of them all. My aragosta was so salty it could hardly be eaten. My wife's mussel dish had under cooked pasta and a sauce that was ineatable. May have just been a bad day. The place came highly recommended. Wish them well. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
