Ioannis is a Greek restaurant where the experience begins the moment you arrive. We were seated outside and personally welcomed by Ioannis himself, who kindly asked whether we preferred the traditional Greek menu or a more tourist-oriented selection. This small gesture immediately set the tone for an exceptionally warm and attentive service. We opted for the Greek menu, which features a wide range of traditional dishes. Everything was well prepared and full of flavour, but several dishes stood out in particular: the prawns, moussaka, courgettes, sea bream, and cĆ“te de bÅuf were all excellent and truly memorable. The wine experience followed the same philosophy. Instead of choosing from a list, we were guided through a tasting of four outstanding Greek wines, many of which are not easy to find elsewhere. Each bottle added something unique to the meal and showcased the diversity of Greek winemaking. Prices are not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food, the wines, and the level of service, especially in a city like Zurich, the value feels entirely fair. Overall, Ioannis is a highly recommended restaurant that delivers an authentic and generous Greek dining experience, supported by genuine hospitality and excellent product quality. We had a great experience overall. We had the fish menu with fresh Fagri fish, which was delicious!! The salad, the side dish and the desert was also worth it. The personel was also very kind and attentive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: CHFĀ 100+
