The service, atmosphere, decor and ambience were fantastic. It really draws you in and once you have entered, you really want to stay. Given the rest of the reviews, I don’t know if I was just unlucky, in which case I will be happy to write an updated review when/if I come again. However, our coffees were not well prepared. They were extremely sour and mine even tasted burnt, not sure if the tempera is set too high or the portafilter wasn’t cleaned properly, but either way, the coffee was not nice. Still 3 stars because everything else was great, and you get to sit on what seems like a theatre stage. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were looking for a place for morning coffee after landing in Zurich early in the morning and found Zimkaffee on Google. The cafe was on a quiet street. The coffee was very good and my friend liked his croissant so much he ordered one more. My pastel de nata on the other hand was only so so.
