To put it in Alpine terms: It's a challenging balancing act between an osteria and a star kitchen! After an evening with mixed expectations (I've read other reviews), I'm of the opinion that only a great artist can walk this tightrope elegantly, as is done at Z'Art. As boss, Claudio Borsoni personally welcomes guests at Z'Art. As a middle-class German-speaking Swiss who also enjoys being entertained in the Ticino from time to time, this welcome gesture is completely unexpected. Already in the first few minutes at Z'Art you could see how the service staff works hand in hand with the boss and vice versa. This somehow creates a harmonious atmosphere. At first glance, the menu reads a bit like a 'conventional Italian'. But the selected ingredients, which are professionally prepared and appetizingly presented on the plate, create a small taste explosion on the palate. If you just want to eat a lot and cheaply, you've come to the wrong restaurant at Z'Art. But anyone who can enjoy and appreciate simple dishes with the finest ingredients will be a regular customer at Z'Art. You can feel the breath of Italy blowing over the Matterhorn from the south. I am of the opinion that the offer at Z'Art is very good value for money. By this I mean that the entire service absolutely corresponds to the asking price. It can also be a selected Vino Rosso from the well-kept wine cellar. Let us advise you and the wine will develop into a complementary taste experience on your palate. It's great that there is such gastronomy as is celebrated in Z'Art. An unusual gastronomic experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
