It’s the best Japanese restaurant of Switzerland we ever tasted so far. Very cosy atmosphere, outstanding variety of fresh and delicious sushi, sashimi, virgin cocktails, deserts and coffee. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On a nice bank holiday Monday I thought it would be a good idea to bring my partner to Yuzu for a date and I was certainly not disappointed, the food was the top dog and the staff even more so. Serving us was the lovely Abby and Taku. For our meals I had the salmon Don (small) and for my partner she chose the tempura udon which suitably filled us up even on an empty stomach; notably their roasted green tea is delightful. On atmosphere the venue itself is wonderfully designed and themed with non-intrusive jazz in the background (moderate to low volume). Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited Basel for my Switzerland trip and found Yuzu Sushi by accident, but I'm very glad that I did. I ordered sushi with tuna and truffle oil and with salmon and yuzu I have tried different sushi restaurants, but this one is one of the best. I loved the extra details added on the sushi. Plus they have a lot of interesting vegan stuff to try. Definitely will visit again if I come to Basel! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
