Location: Just 5 minutes from the center, located on a calm and quiet road. Positive: I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious outdoor terrace—shaded and well-protected, perfect for relaxing. Strange: It operates as a self-service spot, more like a canteen, where you pay, collect your dish, and return your dirty dishes yourself. While this likely helps reduce staffing costs, it detracts from the overall service experience that could be enhanced by having waiters. Food: The cuisine is a “Balkan vegetarian” twist on traditional dishes. The soup was a light, vegetable version of a classic beef broth. The main dish, served in bread like a kebab with seitan instead of meat, was accompanied by raw onions like you’d find in cevapi. Unfortunately, the bread absorbed too much of the sauce, making it soggy, and the eggplant was undercooked and inedible. The iceberg lettuce and supermarket-quality tomato lacked flavor. Suggestions: • Serve the main dish on a plate with the bread in a basket, allowing the choice to dip or not. • Ensure the eggplant is thoroughly cooked. • Opt for a mix of fresh, local salads for better flavor. Smoothies: Excellent! Cake: Just average. Conclusion: Such a prime location and cool space deserve better service and more creativity in the food. There’s a lot of potential to elevate the dining experience! Food, service, atmosphere - amazing! I could go there every day if I lived in Osijek! Every day they have a new vegan dish that you can't get anywhere else. The prices are really fair. The outdoor terrace has plenty of space and there is also space inside (with a/c). Coffee is also great! Plenty of parking nearby, pretty cheap (50c/hour). You can dine in or order take out. Can't wait to come back!
