Absolutely marvelous!!! The Restaurant Spycher at Windegg provides an incredible view of Brienzsee, the surrounding mountains, and a launch site of so many paragliders. Then, if you can stop looking at the view for a minute, the food is positively wonderful. We had the Schindlen, which is a charcuterie served on a shingle. It was amazing, with delicious meats, alpine cheese, dried fruits, and fresh bread. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is delightful and helpful. Be aware... this is a cash only location.
