Salumeria eccezionale dove si può anche mangiare (terrazzino) e qualche tavolo dentro. Tutto ottimo. Servizio gentillissimo.

I have received so many recommendations for this place - I just had to visit this "gastronomical experience". I've found out that not only the products are of highest quality - but also the service in the store is really great and the employees explained in details the different products and their variations, so patiently. They also agreed that we leave our shopping bags with them till the end of the day - and promised to box the glass bottles of Tartuffe oils, so they wouldn’t break during the flight back. After landing back at home - I've made a very stupid mistake: I didn't find the little bottles and I was sure they took it out to pack it - but forgot to put them back. I've sent an email and the family said that although it never happened to them - they will give me a 50 Euros coupon (to use on their online catalog). So nice of them! 2 days and 5 emails later – and I had found the "missing bottles" in my refrigerator, next to the salame I bought - not in a box, rather in bubble wrap I will be back in Rome – and I'll shop again with Volpetti dal 1870. Such a great experience! A gastronomical experience - recommended by all means!
