A gem of a find at Vino Vigneto in Rovinj! The owners are a delightful, warm-hearted couple whose curiosity about Istrian wines is as contagious as their charm. With their wonderful dog by their side, they welcomed us into their cozy world, making us feel more like friends than guests. Their love for wine and for sharing it with others shines through in every glass. Highly recommended—can not wait to come back for more laughs and exceptional sips! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Must-visit for wine lovers! During our tour through Croatia, our first stop was Rovinj. After a day of exploring the town, we stumbled upon this gem of a wine bar and were warmly welcomed by Adam, Lauren, and their sweet dog Riva. They guided us on a ‘Croatian wine flight’ with delicious and surprising selections, sharing fascinating insights about Croatian wines along the way. We enjoyed a fantastic charcuterie board, too. We loved it so much that, after dinner, we decided to head back to Vino Vigneto for a second round of tasting. Adam and Lauren are incredibly friendly and hospitable. We truly enjoyed our time with them and the wonderful atmosphere they’ve created. This is a beautifully designed spot with hardworking, passionate people who are eager to share their expertise. (We spend more than €50 here, but that’s not because it’s so expensive we just loved our time here and couldn’t get enough!) Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best kept secret in Rovinj! I came as a solo traveller and was welcomed by Lauren, Adam and their little dog Riva to this wonderful hidden gem of a wine bar. Nestled in the winding cobbles of Grisia, Vino Vigneto is like a 400 year old cave of wine-related wonders - magical in aesthetic but that’s only the beginning. The menu offered so much choice - I did the Croatian flight and enjoyed a cheese board alongside it. The subtle music, atmosphere, and of course the kindness of the genuinely passionate and knowledgeable owners of this place made it one of my favourite nights of my trip to Rovinj. You won’t regret a visit here! Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
