What a find. Great atmosphere with good mix of locals and tourists willing to try something away from the usual touristy places. Matt, the owner, is a great host and a goldmine of useful info about his adopted city of Florence. Great range of beers at a sensible price. Dogs made very welcome, what's not to like. Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited the White Lion several times a week during our month-long stay in Florence. The beer and atmosphere are warm and welcoming, just like the owner, Matt. He even organized a surprise birthday party for our grandson on one of our visits. If you are in the neighborhood, you gotta stop in!
