Revisiting IM Viadukt - the still worthwhile Food Hall destination near the famous Lowenbrau Brewery site on Limmatstrasse proved it to still be worthwhile > for both specialty shopping AND food> bith to go & dine-in à la carte . Old favourites like the British shop & the Sudhang wines that I’d remembered are still going strong but the standout shop must surely be “Tritt Kass” it simply has to be one of ~ if not the best ~ cheese shops in Zurich. The Pie Shop is also outstanding..& I whilst I didn’t actually purchase any of their fantastic looking pies.. I found their Chocolate Mousse Cake to be quite outstanding.. rich & satisfying, it is one of the best in Zuruch!! And at just CHF 6 per slice it’s very well priced! Tip: they curiously also have great looking scones served with British clotted cream .. & jam !!!! > I might be back one afternoon for that lot!!!! Quibble: There’s only a few steel high-stool spots indoors (air conditioned) at the front where you may eat food purchased from the nearby ‘kitchens’( some of which have also tiny uncomfortable seat/table set ups-ThePie Shop does not have any)-the Marktalle Restaurant at the rear does have its own quite ok seating area (both inside & out) .. but of course it’s all reserved for their own patrons! Àn easy tram ride from Central.. or a not unpleasant walk on a nice day as well Recommended..especially for food lovers! Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I was looking forward to an English style pie, but very disappointed. Wasn't close.Tried a sausage roll as well which was cold. And went in the trash. Live and learn I guess. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
