The food was good, albeit expensive, and the mountain views were beautiful, but the service I experienced was awful. The restaurant was nearly empty (only five tables the entire evening), yet the service collapsed after our appetizers were delivered. While the staff was kind and attentive to the table next to us, we were entirely ignored. It took nearly an hour after the appetizer for our main courses to arrive. Every other table, even those that sat after us, received their mains and desserts while we just sat there, while the staff cleared and reset all the other tables for breakfast around us. When our food was finally delivered, there was no apology for the delay. After finishing our mains, the waitstaff completely disappeared into the kitchen to the point where we could not find anyone to order dessert or even pay our bill, and this was only at 21:00. We ultimately had to walk out to the hotel front desk just to find someone to talk to. I would like to imagine we did something to offend them, since that would explain this behavior but this has really never happened to me before. A huge fan of the Cambrian! We had a beautiful stay for our wedding anniversary where the staff put so much thought into our evening. Neil in particular was such a great host and really took care of us. We’ll be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A combination of fantastic food, view, and atmosphere, together with friendly, delightful and sensitive staff. You cant go wrong with Bryn Williams at The Cambrian. We had 3 dinners and 4 breakfasts here. Absolute perfection! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Endless vegetarian options. Worked through the veggie menu over 3 meals, ordering something different every evening.
